Let’s go cruising on Sun Moon Lake! Our next stop is Sun Moon Lake (日月潭). It is a deep lake and actually the largest body of water in Taiwan. It is the home to the Thao tribe and situated in Yuchi, Nantou. The weather is also very nice on the day we visited Sun Moon Lake.
Cruising on Sun Moon Lake is a must do in Taiwan.
The blue clear sky with white cloud.
While walking to the jetty, we saw a lot of unique buildings.
The big and the small building.
A closer look on the smaller building
Quite unique balconies of this building.
During the visit to this lake, we took a cruise and cruise around the lake.
The cruise. I think the building is a resort.
Another cruise arriving at the jetty.
The traditional fishing boat. According to the tour guide, the net will be left in the lake for a few days to catch a lot of fish, and we will be eating the fish later for our lunch.
This is one of the speciality in this lake, got many small islands.
Saw another one of this traditional fishing boat. Notice the big net?
More cruises docking at the jetty.
Low angle view from the cruise
Till the next part, the Peacock Farm and Wen Wu Temple.
