We went to Fuwa Fuwa Bakery Cafe’s during its’ soft launch on 1st April 2014. On that day, all the buns are RM 1 each and other items are 50% off except drinks and the RM 1 bun. You can also get a free 6 inches cake if your birthday falls on 1st April. At first a bit worried it is an April Fool prank but we did get to enjoy the RM 1 buns and 50% meals that day.
Fuwa Fuwa Bakery Cafe consists of two shop lots in The School. One shop for you to choose the buns and order from the counter. Another one for you to sit down and enjoy your meals. You can see laupoh’ serious face asking about the buns from here.
After you ordered and paid for your food, you can choose to sit next door.
The front view of the place to sit down and enjoy our buns and meals with natural lights from the glass wall.
It was the soft launch day, many customers queuing up for the RM 1 buns and 50% meals.
Do you like pots of flowers in your bakery shop?
Feel very nice to sit here and enjoy my meals. Maybe because of the open space and the natural light?
Fuwa Fuwa Bakery Cafe sells cupcakes as well. Didn’t try though as our targets are the buns that day.
This cupcake is called Viva Vanilla, RM 6 for one. Looks very creamy.
Strawberry Angel cupcake, quite creative name.
Fuwa Fuwa Bakery Cafe also sells cakes such as this Cheesy Carrot Cake. Is it RM 10 for 1 cake or 1 slice?
They also sell cream puff for RM 3 per piece. Not sure what’s inside the puff.
Mini Pavlova.
Laupoh with many different kinds of buns. We ate buns for tea time, supper and breakfast on the next day.
Close-up on the buns. The one with the leaf on top is the curry bun and next to it is the ikan bilis (anchovy) bun, if not mistaken. We also bought durian bomb (durian bun) and Mr Sardine bun. All also soft and nice for me.
Red Bean Bandit. Didn’t get to try this one.
Durian bomb. No bun in sight. Maybe exploded?
Butter Melty bun, didn’t try this too.
Since we are here for lunch, laupoh ordered Fish & Chips, comes with fries and salads.
I ordered The Light & Easy One with scrambed eggs, chicken sausage, bread and fresh salad.
Saw this cup of coffee lying on the table with on one around.
Skipper juice if you are not a coffee or tea person.
The menu of Fuwa Fuwa Bakery’s Cafe. Next time I might try their sandwiches.
