After checked out from Tanah Aina Farrah Soraya, we went to eat the popular wan tan mee in Bentong as recommended by our colleague. The Hooi Kee wantan mee is a food stall in a Chinese restaurant named Yuen Kee Kopitiam. It is within walking distance from Bentong’s morning market. It is crowded when we reach here for lunch but still no need to queue.
The wantan mee is served with char siu (BBQ Pork), wantan (dumpling) and green chili in light soya sauce. The chopstick and bowl are very new, maybe Hooi Kee just renewed them.
Close up on the nice char siu and the wantan. Noodle is springy and not too oily or salty for me.
Top view of the satisfying bowl of wantan noodle with BQQ Pork. Portion is quite small compared to wantan noodle in Kuala Lumpur and Petaling Jaya but we are leaving space in stomach for other food anyway such as the delicious ice cream and ABC at Kedai Kopi Kow Po
The team of Hooi Kee Wantan Mee happily preparing noodle for the customers. There are yong tau fu and mix rice stalls here too in case not everyone in your group want to eat wan tan mee. This wantan noodle is one of the nice food here in Bentong so one should give it a try if come to Bentong.
