Go where to eat rice in Jaya One? GO Rice House la. Sounds familiar? It is because the new Go Rice House restaurant at Jaya One is under the same company as GO Noodle House (有間麵館) restaurant which I blogged a while ago. The GO Rice House offers only rice dishes while the GO Noodle House sells noodle dishes. What food is nice here? Reads on to find out my personal favourite choice.
Delicious Claypot Rice at GO Rice House
My top favourite here is the Lap Mei Claypot Rice (waxed meat). You can order 1 person serving for RM 18.00 or 3-4 serving for RM 56.60. I recommend you to try this on the first visit to GO Rice House.
We ordered a 3-4 serving and share among 4 persons. The portion is quite big and we are fully satisfied.
A close up on the premium Lap Mei on my mini bowl.
Another look at my Lap Mei Claypot rice. The braised peanuts here are not included. It is from the snacks menu.
Braised Pork Belly Claypot rice. My second favourite at RM 13.90. The aromatic claypot rice will fill up your nostrils immediately when it is served.
Scallop Prawn Meat Patty Claypot rice, laupoh’s favourite at RM 14.50. Do you notice the big scallop? The patty is very thick and juicy as well.
On my 3rd visit, I tried this Three Layer Pork Belly Claypot rice. I don’t normally like fat part of pork but this one is delicious.
Besides claypot rice, Go Rice House also serves Soupy Rice such as this Pork Patty Soupy Rice at RM 12.90. Personally I haven’t try any of the soupy rice but laupoh say it is delicious.
Delicious braised peanuts, one of the snacks at GO Rice House at RM 5.00.
OMG this snack is super delicious. The Nam Yue Pork Belly snack at RM 9.00. Perfect snack to eat with your claypot rice or soupy rice here in GO Rice House.
Home Made Crispy Wan Tan. Crispy and the meat is thick. Every bite is satisfying. I noticed GO Rice House’s meat serving is thick and juicy such as the meat patty for the claypot rice and soupy rice.
Another delicious snack from GO Rice House, the Deep Fried Spicy Chicken Fillet. Actually all the snacks we get to try here are delicious. I hope they serve this at GO Noodle House (有間麵館) as well.
Braised Bean Curd at RM 3.50. Laupoh ordered this on her first visit to go with her Soupy Fried Rice.
GO Rice House’s decoration is similar to the GO Noodle House (有間麵館). In GO Noodle House you can buy your own bottle of wine to pour into your bowl of noodle. Not so sure about GO Rice House.
A closer look on the shiny Chinese wine bottle.
The wine shelves in the restaurant. The top part should be the premium wines.
The window in GO Rice House is painted with this Chinese mask.
Another design of the Chinese mask.
A view from inside of the GO Rice House.
GO Rice House is a corner unit in Jaya One just beside The School.
The soupy rice menu of GO Rice House. There are so many choices of ingredients to go with your soupy rice. There are many delicious snacks here as well. For something unique and delicious, I recommend the Nam Yue Pork Belly snack. One ingredient is not enough? You can also order add on or ala carte.
The claypot braised meat rice menu. There are four kinds of claypot rice you can order, the Pork Belly Slice, Pork Ribs, Three Layer Pork Belly and Scallop Prawn Meat Patty. My personal favourite is the Pork Belly Rice. And below the menu, you can also order the premium Lap Mei Claypot Rice which is my favourite as well.
