My blog posts of Penang trip with family are completed. Below are the summary of all the posts and some random photos I shot in Penang. Penang is a nice place for food, nature and historical places. 3 days trip is definitely not enough to try all the nice food and visit all the awesome places in Penang. Will visit again in the near future. Anyway my company trip also went to Penang no long after our own family trip, so stay tuned for more Penang’s posts.

Penang Trip Blog Posts Summary
Our trip started with brunch at Kedai Kopi New Cathay (新國泰茶室) at Penang for the Char Kuey Teow, Char Kuey Kak, Apom Manis and Hokkien Mee. There are many other stalls too that we didn’t get to try.
Our eating adventure continues with sweet and cooling Penang Road Famous Teochew Chendul 槟城律驰名潮州煎蕊.
After the delicious cendol, we went to eat sour and spicy Penang Air Itam Laksa 槟城亚依淡巴刹叻沙, Awesome Penang Food
For the dinner on the first night, we went to eat seafood at Ah Chui Seafood Restaurant 阿水海鲜 at Jalan Paya Terubong, Ayer Itam, Penang
After the dinner, we went to enjoy sunset at Penang Hill / Bukit Bendera

Feeling want to eat more laksa, we went to Ah Leong Laksa at Taman Melur, Butterworth, Penang.
We spent our tea time with cute dessert at Gathers Cafe at Jalan Raja Uda, Butterworth, Penang
For the last night in Penang, we eat more local hawker food at Raja Uda Food Court @ Jalan Raja Uda, Butterworth, Penang

On our first evening of the company trip in Penang, we went to Tsunami Village Cafe to have our seafood dinner. Fresh seafood with reasonable price with sunset and beach view, what else can you ask for? Click to find out more about Tsunami Village Cafe.
Our second day activity for Penang’s company trip is visiting the Leong San Tong Khoo Kongsi, one of the finest Chinese clan temple. Click to learn more about this UNESCO World Heritage site and the history of the Khoos family in early days of Penang at Leong San Tong Khoo Kongsi.
After studying the history of Khoos family in Penang, we went to quench our thirst at Busy Bodhi Cafe with coconut ice cream. Besides the awesome coconut ice cream, Busy Bodhi Cafe is also where you can find one the popular Penang mural, “Child on the chair”, trying to reach something. After enjoying coconut ice cream at Busy Bodhi Cafe, we went to continue our history study at Sun Yat-sen Museum Penang. This place is nice for photography with historical items and environment. Click here to find out more about Sun Yat-sen Museum Penang.
After visiting Sun Yat-sen Museum, we went to Toh Soon Cafe for snack time. Toh Soon Cafe is popular for its egg and charcoal toast set bread and coffee. Click here to read more about Toh Soon Cafe.
Our next location is the Pinang Peranakan Mansion to learn the legacy of Penang’s Baba and Nyonya. Click here to read about Pinang Peranakan Mansion.
For our last night of company Penang trip, we went to eat lots of super delicious local Penang food at Penang Kimberly Street, such as the legendary Duck Kway Chap, Sky Emperor Chicken Feet, loh bak, char kuey teow (fried kuey teow) and Fried Oyster Omelette (Oh Chien). Our last breakfast here is the awesome pork noodle at Hon Kei Food Corner. You can customize your pork noodle with many pig’s parts such as pork liver, pork heart, pork intestines, pork brain, pork kidney and pork tripe.
