Colmar Tropicale Bukit Tinggi French Theme Resort is our holiday destination during the last Christmas holiday. Even though the name is Colmar Tropicale, most people know this place by the name Bukit Tinggi. Perhaps Colmar Tropicale is too hard to pronounce or remember? This resort is an unique location to walk around and snap photos and suitable for a one day trip away from our city life in Petaling Jaya. We have never stayed overnight in the resort before though. Since we are not staying in the resort, we need to pay entrance ticket to visit Colmar Tropicale. The rate is RM13.00 for adults and RM8.00 for children ages 4 to 12. The entrance ticket includes passes to Japanese Village and Botanical Garden as well.
Colmar Tropicale Bukit Tinggi, a French-themed village and resort
Colmar Tropicale Bukit Tinggi French Theme Resort consists of many colorful building such as this one. It is inspired by the old town of Colmar in Alsace, France, which is one of the most beautiful city in Europe.
There is also this high brick tower near the entrance which I think looks like a castle.
Colorful wall and window everywhere in the resort. We came here a few times and noticed it is well maintained as it looks new and colorful every time.
The design of the building exterior is very nice and colorful. Never get bored looking at the design.

The water fountain near the bridge to the entrace of the Colmar Tropicale resort.
Colmar Tropicale is located 2,700 feet above sea level surrounded by rainforest on Bukit Tinggi. The weather here is cold and windy but not as cold as Genting Highlands. You will see green every where around the resort.
Since it is Christmas season, this big Christmas tree is setup in the centre of the resort.
Also spotted this Christmas hut with many boxes of presents.
Another view of the colorful resort.
Spotted this knight in shining armor in the Colmar Tropicale Bukit Tinggi resort’s lobby.

Outside of the 6D Motion Adventure ride. The staff is watching a group of people playing the 6D Motion Adventure ride on the TV. It doesn’t looks interesting enough so we didn’t play.
There is also funfair here such as this duck catching game. Win and you might go back with this big teddy bear.
One of the tourist trying his luck with this shooting game.
The funfair is just beside the resort building.
Most of the windows of the resorts here are decorated with flowers pots.
Quite many tourists on the day we visited Bukit Tinggi’s Colmar Tropicale as it was a holiday week.
The bridge connecting the car park to the resort’s entrance.
There is this park with lake outside the resort.
The bridge from the side. You can walk under the bridge and nearby which is a small garden.
