Feeling awesome today, we decided to try this new place at Taman Paramount, Sea Park called Awesome Canteen. This place is started by a group of awesome people from a design agency in Kuala Lumpur. The furniture inside here are mostly recycled materials and there are a lot of old and classic stuff.
We decided to try their awesome gourmet burgers which are made from freshly ground meat and served with market fresh vegetables and poppy seed bun. I ordered a Paleo Beef Burger (grilled portobello mushroom with melted Swiss cheese and guacamole salsa) and laupoh ordered a Sambal Chicken Burger (with lettuce, tomato served with home-made sambal sauce, deep fried ikan bilis (anchovy) with poppy seed bun). Both burger are awesomely good.

Paleo Beef Burger. There is no bun for this burger. The bun is made from grilled portobello mushroom. Awesome as it is juicy inside and juicy outside!
